Help us continue our efforts in jasper national park
For over 35 years, we have been encouraging stewardship and connecting people to Jasper National Park through educational programs, projects, and volunteer opportunities. We want to continue to do so, but we need your help.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the funds raised in our gift shop to support our programs, projects, and events. In fact, 85% of our operational budget comes from this revenue stream. With our doors currently closed due to COVID-19, we are using this opportunity to pivot our offers and to adapt.
Now, more than ever, we need your support
Giving Tuesday has launched #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity to take place on May 5, 2020, as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. In conjunction with this initiative, we will be asking for the support of our Friends as we launch a fundraising campaign and new online offers.
We acknowledge that, during these extraordinary times, not everyone is in a position to give right now. However, if you are able, please consider supporting us in the following ways.
Donations will help us continue our work in Jasper National Park. Your donation will directly support our educational program offers, the continuation of Park projects, and the Jasper Trails Alliance. Tax receipts are issued for all donations over $10.
Become a member
Perks of becoming a member (or renewing your membership) include: monthly enewsletters, invitations to programs and special events, voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting, the opportunity to share your ideas and feedback with us all year-long, and a 10% discount in our gift shop.
Make a Purchase
Until now our gift shop has been our largest fundraiser, making up 85% of our operating budget. Due to COVID-19, we have had to close our gift shop doors, but we are using this opportunity to pivot our offers and to adapt. Moving forward, we will be offering gift cards and products online through our website and social media, as well as by telephone. Items will be available for curbside pick-up, local delivery, and mail orders. Despite these unprecedented times, we are proud to say that our proceeds continue to support Jasper National Park.
Help set the direction of our dynamic organization by becoming a Board Member. The Board meets monthly to discuss operational goals and also help with programs, projects, and special events. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers that can foster a spirit of fun and commit to an average of ten hours per month over a two-year term.
